School & Student Privacy
Typing a school name or selecting a school does not create an official school relationship. School-connected features are activated only after the appropriate school, district, educator, parent, or student authority is verified for that feature.
Education records
Protected education records are not imported merely because a user names a school. When OneLinkUS acts for a school or district in a way that involves protected education records, use, access, retention, security, deletion, and redisclosure must follow the applicable agreement and law for that relationship.
Purpose limitation
School-provided or school-authorized student information is used only for the authorized educational, safety, administration, or support purpose and is not repurposed for unrelated advertising or public profiles.
Access and separation
Students, parents, educators, administrators, and support personnel receive only the access appropriate to their verified role. School data remains separated from unrelated public social features unless an authorized user deliberately publishes content that is permitted to be public.
School approval
No school logo, official endorsement, protected student roster, grade record, or institutional connection should be displayed or imported as official until the required authorization is confirmed.
Effective September 17, 2026. Applicable law and non-waivable consumer rights control if they require a different result.
