Fundraising & Giving Safeguards
A fundraiser request or draft campaign does not authorize OneLinkUS to collect or transfer money. Public fundraising remains disabled unless the campaign and payment flow satisfy the applicable verification and legal requirements.
Organizer and beneficiary verification
Before a campaign receives money, OneLinkUS may require verification of the organizer, beneficiary, purpose, payout recipient, and supporting claims. A Youth user cannot directly control a payout account where an adult, school, nonprofit, or other verified recipient is required.
Truthful campaigns
Campaign descriptions, images, beneficiary statements, and use-of-funds claims must be truthful and not materially misleading. OneLinkUS may pause or remove a campaign when verification fails, circumstances materially change, fraud is suspected, or legal requirements cannot be satisfied.
Tax treatment
A payment is not described as tax-deductible unless the recipient and transaction actually qualify. OneLinkUS does not promise a tax deduction merely because a payment is described as a donation or fundraiser.
Fees and refunds
Any platform, payment-processing, or payout fees must be disclosed before contribution. Refund handling depends on the payment state, campaign circumstances, applicable law, and payment-provider rules.
Effective September 17, 2026. Applicable law and non-waivable consumer rights control if they require a different result.
